My Passions - psychology & art!

Hi There! I can’t wait to embark on this psychological journey as I know quite a bit about psychology and art separately, and I want to learn how they can combine to make others understand more about themselves and others.

First of all, I took a minor in Psychology in university, and from there I have been applying it in my teaching experience. I continually view different articles and studies, and every time I do this I feel that I want to learn more and more. I remember being in a particular class that mostly had Psych majors, Theory of Psychology - I loved it! I found it odd that some of the students asked me, ‘If you only have a minor in Psych, why would you choose to take this course?’ I didn’t know how to answer this questions until recently. It is because Psychology is one of my passions, and I love to analyze different things humans say and do. I find it fascinating!

In addition, when it comes to Art (painting, photography, graphics), I feel that I am in my element, I lose time doing it, and I truly feel joy in the act of it. It’s something that I cannot even explain. It’s a feeling - I get a sense of calmness and joy really. And, I find it really cool that I can create wonderful works that look beautiful. I am very grateful to have this gift and I love to share it with whomever I encounter, even those who aren’t into art. For me, it is simply enjoyable to do it.
